Tucker signs 4-year extension with Ravens, becomes NFL’s highest-paid kicker
On Monday, Wholesale NFL Jerseys Online Network reporters reported that the Baltimore Ravens and star kicker Justin Tucker agreed to a four-year, $24 million extension, with $17.5 million guaranteed. Soon after, the team officially announced the extension.
The new contract also makes Tucker the highest-paid kicker in the NFL with an average annual salary of $6 million. The contract expires in the 2027 season, when Tucker will be 38. Clearly, the Ravens believe in Tucker’s ability to maintain his form and consistency.
Tucker is undoubtedly one of the best kickers in the NFL right now. So far in his career, the 32-year-old Tucker has shot 91.1% from free-kicks, and has been selected to the All-NBA team 5 times and the Pro Bowl 5 times.
Last season, Tucker also scored a 66-yard free kick, which not only helped the Ravens win, but also directly set an NFL record. The ball also helped Tucker pre-book a future spot in the Hall of Fame.
